Solar PV Installer
This course is designed for individuals who wish to become installers for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The curriculum is designed for individuals to gain basic skills and knowledge for entry level positions in the solar PV industry. Individuals who successfully complete the course and meet the objectives outlined below can be prepared to sit for the NABCEP Entry Level Exam. The material covered in this course addresses the core objectives that will aid in passing the NABCEP Entry Level Exam. Certificate/Certification is awarded upon successful completion 1. Discuss PV Markets and Applications 2. Adhere to basic safety issues 3. Develop knowledge of electricity basics 4. Develop skills and knowledge relating to solar energy fundamentals 5. Develop knowledge of PV Module Fundamentals 6. Discuss PV system components 7. Develop of knowledge of PV Sizing Principles 8. Assist in developing a PV electrical design 9. Assist in developing a PV system mechanical design 10. Perform analysis, maintenance, and troubleshooting
