Renewable Energy Construction Technology
This hands-on program prepares students for high-demand careers in solar and renewable energy installation. The curriculum begins with foundational knowledge in AC/DC electricity, solar energy principles, workplace safety, roofing construction and safety, residential structure anatomy, and electrical systems. It progresses to advanced topics including photovoltaic (PV) system design, installation, and maintenance. Students gain real-world experience through jobsite visits and earn industry-recognized certifications such as OSHA 10 and the NABCEP Photovoltaic Associate.
