NABCEP PV Associate Hybrid Training Program (90 Hours)
This 90-hour hybrid training program for aspiring NABCEP Photovoltaic (PV) Associates combines hands-on lab instruction with classroom-based theoretical learning. The curriculum is aligned with the NABCEP PV Associate Job Task Analysis (JTA). Taught with a high level of technical rigor and a focus on professional development, the course builds practical skills in PV system design, safety practices, and fundamental electrical concepts. Students also learn site assessment techniques, installation best practices, troubleshooting methods, and PV system performance analysis. This program is intended to support candidates pursuing the NABCEP PV Associate certification as a foundational step in their solar PV careers, not as an installer-in-training credential. Students receive a copy of the NABCEP PV Associate JTA at the beginning of the course and, upon completion, and eligibility to sit for the NABCEP PV Associate exam.Read the Associate Handbook for further credentialing information.
