NABCEP Certification Preparation

The course provides an introduction to solar photovoltaics technology. Students will learn about various types of PV technology, electricity generation, advantages and disadvantages of PV, and fundamentals of design, installation and safety. The intent of the course is to prepare successful course completers to take the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Photovoltaics Associates exam. This exam is a gateway to all the other fields and certifications highlighted above. This course will also review shop math and electricity to ensure students have the background needed to understand PV’s.
