NABCEP Associate Credential
Gain the knowledge and skills to design, install, and maintain solar systems! This course will introduce you to photovoltaic (PV) design, installation, and maintenance of solar systems. The classroom theory and hands-on training will cover the following learning objectives: markets and applications, safety basics, electricity basics, solar energy fundamentals, module fundamentals, system components, system sizing principles, system electrical and mechanical design and performance analysis, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Upon completion, students are eligible to sit for the Photovoltaic Associate credential exam offered by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). This credential is intended for people who are currently working in, or seeking employment in, the renewable energy industry.
