Introduction to Solar Photovoltaics – NABCEP PV Associate Training
This 40-hour photovoltaic training course provides foundational knowledge and practical instruction in solar PV systems and is aligned with the NABCEP PV Associate Job Task Analysis. Topics include solar resource and site assessment, electrical fundamentals and safety, PV modules and array configurations, inverters and energy storage, system sizing and design, National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements, grounding, rapid shutdown, conductor sizing and voltage drop, installation practices, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preparation for the NABCEP PV Associate examination.Read the Associate Handbook for further credentialing information.
