Associate PVA Program
The PV-Associate Photovoltaics (Solar Power) course covers the fundamentals of photovoltaic (PV) systems design and installation.
The objective of the course is to prepare students for taking the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Associate Exam.
The course curriculum complies with NABCEP’s Job Task Analysis for the Associate exam.

Site Surveys and Preplanning
System Sizing

The class meets one day each week and has 24/7 access to the online component of the course.
This course meets the 40 hour education requirement to sit for NABCEP’s PV Associate Exam. This course can be used to complete the Photovoltaic Systems Certificate.
